PRUNING

Pruning

Pruning may involve: specific branch removal, crown lifting, partial and full crown reduction, crown thinning, formative pruning, dead wood removal, pollarding and coppicing. It is essential to know the desired outcome from the pruning, this coupled with the age, species, location, current and future landuse around the tree will help determine the most appropriate works.

Pruning can drastically and irreversibly alter the way in which a tree grows and thrives and so should be a thoughtful decision.

We are happy to arrange a site visit to discus options and their outcomes to your specific needs.

We undertake pruning works at all levels from shaping  trees and shrubs in formal gardens to sensitive reductions on large veteran and ancient giants to help storm proof them.
